PHASE 1 : FORMING A STEADY CORE

Duration: 1 week.

Your core is the first point of stability you need if you aim to move and function without pain. If you’re body can’t establish basic anchors in your deep core muscles when you exercise, it will find other places on the body to stabilize from. This creates imbalance in the body, which will eventually lead to pain and injury.


PHASE 2 : PROGRAM OPTIMAL GLUTE FUNCTION

Duration: 1 week.

When you look at how humans evolved over millions of years, our anatomy developed to move the best by walking and sprinting on two feet. The glutes are incredibly important in being able to get these functions to work correctly, so you can learn to develop the right kind of propulsion in your posterior chain.


PHASE 3 : ENHANCE UPPER BODY BASED STRENGTH

Duration: 1 week

Most upper body based programs fail to account for life outside the weight room. These exercises will help you build your upper body in ways that apply to the most fundamental motions you can perform. Standing, Walking, Running and Throwing.


PHASE 4 : FULL BODY INTEGRATION

Duration: 1 week

In Phase 4 we connect the first 3 Phases together, and show you advanced exercises to boost your movement awareness. Weight transfer, body positioning, and transverse movements, will all prepare your body and joints to be maintain stability through the ballistic movements covered in Phase 5.


PHASE 5 : BALLISTIC MOVEMENTS

Duration: 1 week

This is where we bring it all together to maximize your movement potential. Unleash dynamic power, master plyometrics, and sprint towards peak performance, all while keeping your joints stable and safe in the process.

Our online programs were designed so that you can grab a few simple tools and get to training wherever you go. The Functional Training System can be done with the following tools:

• Dumbbells (a pair of 5-10 lbs is a good starting point)
• Slam Balls (5-10 lbs is a good starting point)
• Ankle Weights
• Resistance Band and handle

Many of these tools can be sourced from a local sports store or ordered from Amazon.
